Planning Division
The Planning Division can assist you with matters pertaining to Official Plans, Zoning By-laws, Plans of Subdivision, Consents to Sever Land, Minor Variance, Site Plan Control, Committee of Adjustment and other land use planning related matters.Economic Development Division

Heritage Division
The Heritage Division works in close co-ordination with the Planning, Building and Economic Development functions of the Department. It provides technical support for the Municipality’s Heritage Advisory Committee. It maintains and monitors an Inventory of over 1,000 heritage properties in the Municipality, which could be threatened by demolition or development. Some of the other projects which the Division has been actively involved with include the creation of Walking Tours and research and development of articles on various aspects of the community’s history.
