Invitation

We are the organizers of the Mosaic Legacy Tiles Project, a large-scale community mural that will be permanently installed at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. The finished piece will measure 8’ x 8’ and be composed of individual 4” x 4” hand-painted tiles, each created by a different community member and brought together into one cohesive image.

Thanks to a $2,000 Arts and Culture Development Fund grant and early donations, the project is well underway. However, we are currently approximately $1,000 short of our fundraising goal. Raising these funds will allow us to offer the majority of the remaining tiles at no cost, ensuring there are no financial barriers for diverse community members to participate.

How you can help

We are hosting two paint-and-donate sessions at Salamanders in Kemptville on:

Wednesday, January 21
• 1:00–4:00 pm
• 4:30–7:30 pm

Each session can accommodate up to 40 participants. All materials and guidance will be provided, and each participant will paint one mosaic tile during the session. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

We are asking participants to make a $20 donation to help us reach our fundraising goal.

Once the fundraising phase is complete, we will be hosting additional tile-painting sessions free of charge, specifically to ensure accessibility for all who wish to take part.
