Council has declared August 31, 2026, International Overdose Awareness Day in North Grenville, supporting an opportunity to remember those lost to overdose, acknowledge the grief of families and friends, and help reduce the stigma surrounding substance use.
Traffic has been reconfigured at the Colonnade Drive and County Road 43 roundabout as work continues on the northside of the roundabout. UPDATE AUG 18: Eastbound and westbound traffic is being switched to the NORTH side of the roundabout. Left-hand turns are steill not permitted for traffic entering or leaving the south branch of Colonnade Drive.
In the news: North Grenville recognized as a “growing housing hub” in CMHC’s 2026 Housing Accelerator Fund update, by reforming zoning rules and allowing up to six units on a residential lot thereby opening the door to Missing Middle housing and giving first-time homebuyers, renters, and seniors more options.
