Please be advised of the upcoming road closure for a portion of County Road 43 at the bridge between County Road 19 and County Road 44 beginning at 8:00PM Friday, May 8^th and ending the following morning, May 9^th, at 8:00AM. This closure is required for the erection of the Stage 2 Girders for the Kemptville Creek Bridge. OPP Paid Duty Officers will be placed at each end of the closure to control traffic as they approach the detour route. 

Public Notice: As of April 28, 20265, North Grenville is under a complete burn ban. No burning of any kind is permitted. 

Conditions will be monitored daily, and the burn ban will be lifted as soon as it is safe to do so. Kindly be extra vigilant not to dispose of smoking material while driving.

North Grenville, ON – A $2.6 million provincial investment – announced at Kemptville District Hospital on April 28, 2026, by MPP Steve Clark – will connect up to 6,400 people in North Grenville and surrounding communities to primary care, marking a major milestone in a locally led effort to expand access to care.

Please be advised of a temporary change to traffic at the County Road 43 & 19 (Rideau River Road) intersection. Staging for centre traffic circle work will happen between April 28 and May 6, 2026.

• The intersection will be right turns only.
• If you need to travel north or south on County Road 19, continue to the next roundabout and return in the opposite lane to make a right turn in your desired direction.
• Eastbound and westbound through traffic will continue to move through the intersection at all times.
• Access to local businesses along County Road 19 will remain open.
