NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville is pleased to announce that applications for the 2027 Community Grant Program are now open.
Community organizations, volunteer groups and local initiatives are encouraged to apply for funding to support projects that enhance quality of life, promote inclusion, encourage participation and strengthen connections across North Grenville.
Applications close Monday, November 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
"North Grenville’s community organizations and volunteers contribute enormously to the quality of life we enjoy,” said Mayor Nancy Peckford. “Throughout this term of Council, we have been proud to continue investing in the Community Grant Program and, in turn, in the people and organizations doing important work across our community. Year after year, we see these grants help local groups build connections, respond to emerging needs and create new opportunities for residents. I encourage any and all local organizations with a grand idea for 2027 to apply."
The impact of the program can be seen throughout North Grenville. In 2026, grants supported a range of initiatives, including:
- Beyond the Label/DiversX – community workshops supporting individuals with neurodiversity and mental health challenges.
- Kemptville Minor Football Club – expanded youth opportunities and women's football programming.
- North Grenville Community Meals Association – weekly free community dinners.
- Senior Support Services Lanark, Leeds & Grenville – accessible exercise programs for older adults.
Together, these initiatives demonstrate the many ways local organizations help create a vibrant, caring and connected community.
