The Municipality of North Grenville has completed a Master Planning process, in accordance with Approach 1 of the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) process, to develop a Water and Wastewater Servicing Master Plan Update.
The Master Plan study assessed various options to improve the ability of North Grenville’s water and wastewater systems to accommodate the current and future population growth within the Kemptville Urban Serviced Area.
Based on the study findings, input from technical agencies, and public comments, the Master Plan is now complete. The preferred alternatives include sanitary sewer and watermain upgrades, and additional studies for expansions to potable water supply, potable water storage, wastewater pumping, and wastewater treatment systems.
The recommended projects are presented in the Master Plan report, which is currently available for review at the Water and Wastewater Servicing Master Plan Project Page.
By this notice, the Master Plan is being placed on public record for a 30-day review period in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class EA process. Interested persons may provide written comments to the project team by April 18, 2026. All comments and concerns should be sent directly to:
