Federal public servants should support the economies of where they reside, not where they work

In recent weeks, Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe & Ontario’s Premier have appealed to federal Minister Anita Anand to get public servants ‘back to the office’ a minimum of three days a week in Ottawa’s downtown core. News from an anonymous insider this past weekend suggested this message is being heeded.

The North Grenville Municipal Council officially designated May as Community Living Month, emphasizing inclusivity and support for all community members. The flag was raised at the Municipal Centre following the annual Breakfast Pancake fundraiser that took place Wednesday, May 1st.

NORTH GRENVILLE - Today the Government of Canada formally announced a Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) award of up to $5,234,207.00 to the Municipality of North Grenville to deliver up to 671 new homes over the next 3 years.

On behalf of Council, Municipal staff and the community, I would like to express our sincere and heartfelt condolences to family and dear friends on the passing of Mr. Ken Finnerty, long-serving Reeve of the Town of Kemptville, Councillor and Deputy of Mayor of the Municipality of North Grenville. Mr. Finnerty passed away on January 14, 2024.
